Temp-to-perm (also called temp-to-contract or try-before-you-hire) is where a candidate starts in a temporary role with the explicit intention — on both sides — that the placement may become permanent. During the initial period, the worker is employed by Prism 7 Resourcing. If the employer decides to make an offer of permanent employment, a conversion takes place and the candidate moves onto the employer's payroll. It's one of the most popular routes for both candidates and employers because it reduces risk for everyone involved.
