Warehouse Operative

Key Duties

Receiving incoming goods and checking against delivery notes
Picking orders using handheld RF scanners or voice pick
Packing goods to company standards and labelling for dispatch
Operating FLT or reach truck if licence held
Maintaining clean and safe work areas
Reporting damaged stock or discrepancies to supervisors
Meeting daily pick rate targets

Typical Qualifications & Requirements

Previous warehouse experience preferred (training given for motivated candidates)
FLT counterbalance or reach truck licence advantageous
Ability to work in a temperature-controlled or chilled environment
Comfortable working night shifts or rotating shifts
Basic numeracy for stock counting
