Warehouse Administrator

Warehouse administrators provide the administrative backbone of a distribution or storage operation, managing stock records, booking in deliveries, and keeping documentation accurate and accessible. Key Duties

Booking in inbound deliveries on the warehouse management system and allocating to put-away locations
Raising and processing goods received notes, purchase orders, and delivery discrepancy reports
Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting cycle count reconciliation
Liaising with transport and operations teams on collection scheduling and dispatch paperwork
Handling customer and supplier queries relating to orders, shortages, and returns
Producing shift productivity reports and KPI summaries for the operations manager
Filing and archiving delivery documentation in compliance with retention policies

Typical Qualifications & Requirements

Previous warehouse administration or stock control experience
Proficient in Excel and experience with WMS or ERP systems
Good communication skills — working across warehouse floor and office environments
Organised with strong attention to accuracy in data entry
GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths
