Van Driver

Key Duties

Completing multi-drop delivery rounds efficiently within set time windows
Loading the van in a logical order to support route sequence
Obtaining customer signatures or photographic POD where required
Handling customer queries and exceptions professionally at the door
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Using route planning apps or handheld devices to manage deliveries
Returning undelivered items and completing end-of-day paperwork accurately

Typical Qualifications & Requirements

Full UK Category B driving licence
Clean licence preferred (no more than 3–6 points)
Previous multi-drop delivery experience advantageous
Good navigation skills and smartphone literacy
Physically capable of carrying and manoeuvring packages
