- Erecting and dismantling tube and fitting, system, and modular scaffold structures
- Loading and unloading scaffold equipment from lorries and transporting to work location
- Inspecting scaffold structures before handover and recording in the scaffold register
- Working safely at height in compliance with Work at Height Regulations 2005
- Following site-specific RAMS and obtaining valid permits to work before starting
- Altering and adapting scaffold as works progress to meet the access requirements of other trades
- Maintaining scaffold tags and completing daily inspection records
Scaffolder
Scaffolders erect and dismantle scaffold structures that allow other trades to work safely at height — from simple tube and fitting on residential work to complex systems scaffolding on commercial and industrial projects. - CISRS card — Part 1 or Part 2 Scaffolder, or Advanced Scaffolder as applicable
- CSCS card
- PASMA Mobile Tower Training certificate for mobile access towers where applicable
- Asbestos Awareness certificate (required on most commercial sites)
- Full UK driving licence — required for most scaffolding roles
