- Greeting customers and providing friendly, helpful service throughout their visit
- Assisting customers in locating and selecting products
- Operating the till, processing cash, card, and contactless payments accurately
- Replenishing shelves and rails from the stockroom and ensuring displays are tidy
- Following security procedures and staying alert to shoplifting activity
