- Loading and unloading baggage and cargo from aircraft holds using loading equipment and belt loaders
- Operating a range of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) including tugs, loaders, and stairs
- Positioning and removing jetways, passenger stairs, and ground power equipment
- Assisting with aircraft water and waste servicing where trained
- Observing all airside safety rules and FOD prevention procedures on the apron
- Working to tight turnaround timings under the direction of the ramp supervisor
- Completing ramp handling documentation for each turnaround
