- Monitoring the shop floor and CCTV systems for suspicious behaviour and shoplifting activity
- Detaining and dealing with apprehended shoplifters in line with legal powers and company policy
- Completing accurate written reports for police and legal proceedings
- Conducting employee bag checks and maintaining procedural integrity
- Supporting store management with stock discrepancy investigations
- Providing visible deterrence and maintaining a safe, secure retail environment
- Assisting with emergency evacuation procedures and first aid if qualified
