Hotel Manager

Hotel managers lead all aspects of a property's operation — from guest services and housekeeping to revenue management and staff development. Prism 7 Resourcing places hotel managers with independent properties, boutique hotels, and branded chains across the South East.

Key Duties

  • Overseeing daily hotel operations across front of house, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
  • Managing and developing the team through recruitment, training, appraisals, and performance management
  • Driving revenue through occupancy optimisation, rate management, and upselling strategies
  • Handling guest complaints promptly and ensuring service recovery meets brand standards
  • Producing and managing the hotel P&L, controlling costs and maximising profitability
  • Maintaining compliance with Health and Safety, food hygiene, licensing, and fire regulations
  • Building relationships with corporate clients, event bookers, and local business partners

Typical Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a hotel manager or deputy manager
  • HND or degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing a property P&L
  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3 (or willingness to obtain)
  • Personal Licence holder (or able to obtain) for licensed premises
