HGV Class 2 Driver

Key Duties

Driving rigid HGV vehicles on planned multi-drop delivery routes
Completing pre-use vehicle inspections and recording any defects
Managing tachograph hours and taking breaks in accordance with EU/AETR rules
Loading and unloading goods safely, using tail-lift where fitted
Liaising with customers and businesses on delivery to ensure satisfaction
Completing POD paperwork and reporting shortages or damages

Typical Qualifications & Requirements

Category C driving licence (rigid)
Valid CPC Driver Qualification Card
