- Excavating and preparing ground for foundations, drainage, and underground services
- Laying and jointing drainage systems including foul, surface, and combined sewers
- Constructing concrete slabs, bases, and oversites to specified levels and falls
- Setting out kerbing, block paving, and external hard landscaping
- Erecting and striking formwork for ground beams, column bases, and retaining walls
- Working with plant operators to ensure correct excavation profiles and levels
- Complying with all RAMS and site H&S requirements throughout the works
Groundworker

Typical Qualifications & Requirements
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks or equivalent)
- CPCS or NPORS ticket for plant operation if required
- Street Works NRSWA unit 2 (signing, lighting, and guarding) advantageous for utilities groundwork
- Previous groundworks experience in a civil or residential construction environment
- Full UK driving licence
