- Marshalling aircraft onto and off stands using correct hand signals or wands
- Placing chocks, cones, and safety equipment around the aircraft after arrival
- Connecting and operating GPU (ground power unit) and preconditioned air units
- Assisting with aircraft pushback using a tug under the supervision of the pushback coordinator
- Liaising with the flight deck and cabin crew during turnaround
- Reporting FOD (foreign object debris) on the stand and keeping the apron clear
- Completing turnaround documentation and timings for the handling system
