Forklift Driver

Forklift drivers move, stack, and retrieve palletised goods within warehouses, distribution centres, and manufacturing facilities — keeping the flow of stock running efficiently and safely. Prism 7 Resourcing places FLT operators across a wide range of sites in Essex, London, and Kent, covering both day and night shifts.

Key Duties

Operating counterbalance, reach truck, or other FLT equipment to move palletised stock
Loading and unloading vehicles at dock doors or yard areas
Putting away inbound stock and retrieving goods for picking and dispatch
Pre-use checks on the forklift and recording them in the daily log
Working to location accuracy standards within the WMS
Assisting with stocktakes and cycle counts as required
Maintaining a safe working environment and reporting hazards or near misses

Typical Qualifications & Requirements

Valid FLT licence — counterbalance (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited preferred)
Reach truck licence advantageous
Previous FLT experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
Comfortable working in a racked, high-bay warehouse environment
Able to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
