- Laying bricks, blocks, and masonry to plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Setting out courses using profiles, lines, and levels to ensure accuracy
- Mixing and applying mortar to correct consistency and joint finish
- Building in lintels, door and window frames, and other structural elements
- Constructing decorative and specialist brickwork features including arches and corbelling
- Keeping the work area clean and managing waste to minimise breakage and waste
- Reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings
Bricklayer

Key Duties
Typical Qualifications & Requirements
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card — NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Bricklaying
- City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 Bricklaying (or equivalent apprenticeship completion)
- Asbestos Awareness certificate required on commercial sites
- Proven bricklaying experience with a portfolio of completed projects
- Full UK driving licence advantageous
