- Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts on a weekly or monthly basis
- Processing supplier invoices, raising sales invoices, and chasing outstanding debts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns to HMRC via Making Tax Digital
- Managing petty cash and expense claims
- Providing trial balance and management accounts data to the accountant
- Assisting with payroll data preparation and BACS payment runs
